Understanding our natural heritage is essential to understanding what it means to be human. My goal is to help people connect to their natural heritage through hands-on experiences in nature. Only when we experience the dynamic relationship between ourselves and our environment, both affecting each other in such intricate ways, do we begin to care about protecting this heritage for ourselves and future generations. It is of utmost importance that youth be involved in this legacy. Public access to and sense of ownership of natural spaces is key to their preservation. I am a Certified Interpretive Guide and Master Naturalist. I am also a volunteer educator for the Project WILD, Project Learning Tree, Project WET, and Coyote Mentoring curricula.
